We didn't originally intend to even get started on FGV studies in Washington but were drawn in when geochemical studies of artifacts and source material from southern British Columbia, the San Juan Islands, and the Olympic Peninsula all turned up an intriguing common source, Watts Point in southern British Columbia. Further research on this geographically-widespread FGV source and and its prehistoric use should clear up some of the current ambiguity about this topic.
